Duties Student Ambassadors assist with a wide variety of projects to support the Student Affairs Division and college. This position’s focus is to offer support in the testing center and the Admissions department as well as other departments in Student Affairs as needed. Student Ambassador positions are flexible and can adapt to student’s strengths and areas they would like to gain work experience. No prior job experience needed. Primary Job Duties: 1. Desire to learn and willingness to attend training as needed to learn job duties. 2. Support the daily operations of the Testing Center. 3. Monitor student exams. 4. Schedule tests. 5. Answer basic testing questions. 6. Assist Admissions with Tuesday Campus Visit check-ins and other recruiting events. 7. Make phone calls for Admissions calling campaigns in a professional and courteous manner, utilizing a script while also adapting as needed to respond to student questions. 8. Assist with administrative support tasks for Admissions (data entry, scanning, and faxing). 9. Other duties as assigned. Student Worker Expectations: 1. Be accountable. 2. Qualifications The ideal candidate is organized, has good computer skills, desires to provide high quality customer service, and is able to communication effectively verbally and in writing.
Work Schedule Monday-Friday, between the hours 7:30am-4pm. Set days/times flexible around student’s availability. Mornings are preferred.
