Duties
|
DESCRIPTION: Student Ambassadors assist with a wide variety of projects to support the Information Technology department and the college.
This position’s focus is to staff the help desk in the Student (BYOD) Support Office. This position also provides support as needed to Student Affairs departments.
Student Ambassador positions are flexible and can adapt to student’s strengths and areas they would like to gain work experience. No prior job experience needed.
Primary Job Duties:
1. Desire to learn and willingness to attend training as needed to learn job duties.
2. Provide technology (hardware / software / StarID) support to students.
3. Answer questions or submit support tickets for appropriate staff to assist.
4. Provide basic support for technology (e.g., logging on to computers, printing, accessing D2L and e-services).
5. Other duties as assigned to support the college.

Qualifications
|
• The ideal candidate is organized, has good computer skills, desires to provide high quality customer service, and is able to communication effectively verbally and in writing.

Work Schedule |
Monday-Friday, between the hours 8:00am-4:30pm. Set days/times flexible around student’s availability. |
