Duties
|
Assist students in understanding HVAC concepts, including thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles, electrical/wiring systems, and mechanical components.
Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions tailored to learning styles and academic needs.
Help assist students with homework, lab assignments and exam preparation
Administrative and programming assistance around Commercial HVAC program
Working relationships with direct supervisors, industry partners and instructors

Qualifications
|
2nd year in the HVAC or similar program
Working knowledge of HVAC concepts such as thermodynamics, electrical and wiring systems and mechanical components.
Work Study eligibility
Be able to get to the Saint Paul Pipefitters Training Center
|

Twice a week at the training center in-person hours: Mondays & Wednesdays
Tuesdays at DCTC campus support
Work schedule can be negotiated with direct supervisor |
