Location
Duties Student Support • Greet and assist students, alumni, employers, and visitors who contact or visit the office. • Help students schedule appointments and navigate career services resources. • Conduct basic resume and cover letter reviews using office guidelines and provided training. • Assist with student outreach and follow-up communications. Employer Relations Support • Assist with employer communications related to recruiting activities, job postings, and events. • Help maintain employer contact records and organize employer partnership information. • Support employer registration and logistics for career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting activities. Career Event and Program Support • Assist with planning, promotion, setup, and execution of career fairs, workshops, employer visits, and other career-related events. • Help prepare event materials, signage, and participant resources. • Support event check-in and attendee engagement activities. Administrative and Office Support • Maintain digital and physical filing systems. • Assist with data entry, record management, and office organization projects. • Monitor shared email accounts and respond to routine inquiries as appropriate. • Help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professionalism of the office environment. Marketing and Outreach • Assist with promoting career development events, resources, and opportunities through campus communication channels. • Create and update digital content, flyers, presentations, and other promotional materials. • Support outreach efforts designed to increase student engagement with career services. Other Duties • Complete special projects as assigned. • Perform other duties as assigned in support of Career Development Office operations.
Qualifications Required • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Dependable, punctual, and accountable for scheduled work hours. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred • Interest in career development, human resources, business, communications, education, or related fields. • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and digital communication tools. • Experience creating professional documents, presentations, or social media content.
Work Schedule Flexible schedule during Career Development Office operating hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours will be determined based on student availability and departmental needs.

Hours Per Week Work hours will be determined by student work-study funds and can be up to 20 hours per week.
